Kanak is in her third year of the Queen’s Commerce program, and currently serves as the co-chair for QFAC 2017, subsequent to serving as the Sponsorship Director in 2016 and Logistics Coordinator in 2015.

For the summer of 2017, Kanak will be completing a summer internship with RBC Capital Markets in New York within the Investment Banking division. Previously in her second year, Kanak completed a 19-week internship with the Investment Management team at Gluskin Sheff + Associates as an equity research analyst working on fundamental analysis and merger arbitrage.

At Queen’s, Kanak serves as Industrials Portfolio Manager for Limestone Capital, a student-run investment club focused on fundamental investing. Kanak was previously a member of the Queen’s Commerce Trading Committee, and served as an analyst for the Queen’s Social Investment Initiative – both platforms for investing through different vehicles.

Kanak enjoys playing basketball and swimming in her spare time. After living in Dubai for 10 years, Kanak enjoys experiencing new cultures and learning new languages. She is currently completing an exchange in Singapore, at Singapore Management University.

Paul is currently in his third-year of the Bachelor of Commerce program at the Queen’s Smith School of Business and serves as the co-chair of QFAC 2017, which enters its 11th year.

During his second-year summer, Paul completed a 9-week internship in the Global Corporate Banking Group covering FIG at J.P. Morgan’s Toronto office. Paul will be returning to J.P. Morgan for his third year summer internship in their New York Office. In the summer after his first-year, he completed a 12-week internship in the Wealth Management division at Canaccord Genuity’s Vancouver office.

Paul is heavily involved in other facets of the Queen’s Commerce Society aside from QFAC. Currently, Paul serves as the Portfolio Manager in the Consumers group at Limestone Capital, a student run investment club investing in Canadian and US equities. Previously, Paul served as the Sponsorship Director for the Queen’s Conference on International Business (QCIB), a student led conference held in Downtown Toronto with focus in international business and foreign affairs. In addition, outside of finance, Paul has previously taken on roles including the Chief Marketing Officer for the Commerce Society and Competitor Coordinator of Queen’s Entrepreneurs’ Competition

Currently, Paul is studying abroad at the Aston School of Business in the United Kingdom
