Taylor is in his second year of the Queen’s Commerce program, and currently serves as a Sponsorship Coordinator for QFAC 2018. Previously, Taylor attended the 2017 conference as a delegate and participated in the 2017 QFAC NYC Stock Pitch Competition as a finalist.
For the summer of 2018, Taylor will be completing an 18-week internship with Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan in their Private Capital, Direct Investments group. Taylor previously worked for multiple years as a maintenance technician at his cottage on Georgian Bay.
At Queen’s, Taylor is also an Analyst for Limestone Capital’s TMT sector, previously working as one of two Junior Analysts with the club. He also works as an Analyst for Queen’s Private Capital Group, providing pro-bono financial advisory services to Toronto-based VC and PE firms. Additionally, Taylor is a field marketing coordinator for Board Meeting.
Taylor has competed in multiple stock pitch competitions, winning both the Investors of Tomorrow and QUIC Scotiabank pitch competitions during his first year in Commerce, and manages a diversified personal portfolio of over $10,000. He enjoys playing hockey, tennis, and skiing, and has travelled to over 14 countries during the past couple years. Taylor is excited to work with the QFAC 2018 executive team this upcoming year.
